Christmas Naturally by Kultura Filipino

"Tis the season to be jolly! Fra la la la la la la la la!! :) I was invited to attend the Christmas Naturally by Kultura Filipino were they launched the SM Kultura's Holiday Collection. It was held at SM Makati branch. Upon entering the venue, feel na feel mo na ang Christmas spirit! Christmas season is really here!! Yay!

I was at the Kultura Filipino Christmas Holiday event last year (wow, time really flies that fast), and when I got an invite again this year, na excite ako because it's one of the few events that have Christmas theme.

With Christmas fast approaching, it is nice to know that many of us still practice family traditions.  Gift giving and putting holiday decors in our homes to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ and have that festive feel is an important part of our Christmas traditions.
In keeping with this,  Kultura Filipino, the place to shop for all things Filipino launches Christmas Naturally, a pre-holiday bazaar that carries Kultura’s new collection of homespun Christmas décor and gifts. Christmas Naturally also launches new selections of Kultura’s “Crafts for a Cause” advocacy line.

Kultura Filipino’s homespun holiday décor gets you in that holiday mood.   There are symbols of a traditional Filipino Christmas with lanterns and ornaments, nativity sets and angel figures, as well as Santa figures delicately hand crafted by local artisans.   Fashioned from indigenous materials like capiz, pearls, sinamay, rattan and abaca, these also make great gifts for family and friends abroad.
There are also dazzling holiday trees, topiaries, wreaths, table centerpieces and candle holders in glistening arrangements of holiday foliage.

Gift giving from the heart is easy with fine gift ideas from Kultura.  This is perfect for your family, friends and even business partners and a great way to express our love and appreciation for them.   There are stylish clutch bags made of shell, wood and snake skin and semi-precious jewelry for the more fashionable ones in your list.

You can also give a gift of compassion with items from Crafts for a Cause – Kultura’s own advocacy program that has brought together products from different livelihood programs. Collection includes bags and purses, necklaces and earrings, candle holders and other table tops all made from recycled materials.

Super love this! Ang cute and very artistic. Who could have thought that pull-tabs from soda cans can be a great accessory? From necklaces, to purse, cellphone holders, etc. Only in the Philippines! :)

Senator Loren Legarda also graced the event.

Discover more Filipino holiday finds at Kultura Filipino stores located at SM Makati, SM Megamall, the SM Mall of Asia, SM City Cebu, SM Lanang Premier, and at selected SM Stores.

What are you waiting for? Shop at Kultura Filipino and let's support their causes for the Filipinos.

Thank you ARC Public Relations and Outsmark for the invite! :)

Zonta Club of Muntinlupa & Environs Presents: Bollywood Madness Bazaar
Excusive women’s club holds annual fundraising bazaar in Ayala Alabang

The Zonta Club of Muntinlupa & Environs (ZCME) is holding its annual fundraising event on November 3 and 4, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday), from 8AM to 8PM at the Cuenca Covered Court in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City. Featuring a festive Indian theme, the Bollywood Madness Bazaar is inspired by India’s vibrant colors, attractive ethnicity, exotic cuisine, and the global emergence of Bollywood movies.

“After the highly successful Moroccan bazaar last year, we want to reinforce the iconic branding of our annual fundraiser,” explains Nancy Harel, Public Relations Officer of ZCME. “A different theme each year allows us to differentiate our bazaar from all the others.”

Established in 1988, ZCME is composed of professional women working together to elevate the state of marginalized women and children in the city of Muntinlupa. Through the organization’s various projects, issues such as education, politics, health, and economics are addressed, thereby empowering women to become contributing and productive members of the society.

The annual 2-day bazaar aims to raise funds needed for the Club’s numerous community service projects. Two major beneficiaries of this event are SAGIP (Saklolo at Gabay ng Ina at Pamilya), a 24-hour crisis response center for abused women and children of Muntinlupa and TDZ (Tulong Dunong ng Zonta), a high school scholarship program granted to underprivileged but intelligent young girls in the city.

Participating at the bazaar is Republiq of Asia, who will offer its selection of handmade clothes, jewelry, accessories, and home furnishing. Some of these fair trade products are directly sourced from all over Asia, Australia, and Europe.Another participant to look out for is Silnag, a local company that sells native hand-crafted jewelry made from sustainable indigenous materials.

The Bollywood Madness Bazaar is made possible through the generosity of YKK Philippines, Pioneer Insurance, Hans Brumann Jewelry, Bay &HecSenares Gasoline Station (PHOENIX), Graman Fashion, EJ Litton Foundation, and Crocs Philippines.

Come and let's support these cause through shopping at The Bollywood Madness Bazaar!

Cohen’s Lifestyle: A celebration of renewal

A celebration of renewal

Cohen’s Lifestyle Centre celebrates the personal battles won and healthier lifestyle gained by the Cohen graduates with Re: New Me 2012.

Carrying the theme “Fit for the Red Carpet”, the event celebrates the successful transformation of the Cohen Program graduates through a fashion show and photo exhibit that showcase their new fit and slimmer bodies as well as their renewed, healthier lifestyle. Likewise, the event brings together the entire Cohen community– from graduates, non-graduates, medical professionals, and health and wellness advocates alike.

According to Barbara Young, CEO of Cohen’s Lifestyle Centre, the fashion-inspired event is dedicated to the graduates of the Cohen program. “These incredible men and women have successfully lost weight, which may be impossible to some. This achievement is worth recognizing because they not only gained confidence from having bodies worthy of being seen in the red carpet, but more importantly, they acquired new outlooks in life after overcoming their weight and health issues. This is their time to shine,” says Young.

The Cohen Program was formulated by Dr. Rami Cohen, MD, a specialist renowned for his research on hormones involved in obesity and weight loss. It is based on internationally-accepted medical research with thousands of success stories worldwide.

With the Cohen Program, Dr. Cohen personally develops individually-tailored Eating Plan. Each plan is based on a person’s unique body chemistry. This personalized eating plan is designed to trigger the body’s natural ability to shed off fat rapidly and safely and bring their hormones back in balance.

No two Eating Plans are the same. The essential formula is the specific quantity and combination of food unique to each person. And only by following the program precisely can one allow their body to correct its chemical imbalance naturally.

Another unique offer of Cohen’s Lifestyle Centre is the establishment of a Cohen Community– graduates who have successfully completed the Cohen Program and non-graduates who are still on the journey to healthier body and lifestyle. Both share a similar experience of what it feels like having gone through a challenging ordeal. Hence, they build a support system that encourages and inspires each other to persevere and stay on the program.

“Completing the Cohen program requires discipline and patience. This is why we established the Cohen Community– to provide our clients who are undergoing the program the support and encouragement from people who have gone through the same program and understand the challenges that they face,” adds Young.

Re: New Me 2012 is presented by Splenda and sponsored by Mosvit, Other sponsors include Ayala Land Premier, Lady’s Choice MayoLite, Pond’s, Pioneer Life Insurance, and Bulla Lite n’ Healthy Yogurt.

The Cohen program is exclusively offered in the Philippines at the Cohen’s Lifestyle Centre. To know more, visit the Cohen’s Lifestyle Centre Philippines at Suite 1006, 10th Floor Medical Plaza Makati Building, Amorsolo cor. de la Rosa Streets, Legaspi Village, Makati City.  You may also log on to www.cohenlifestyle.com.ph, email info@cohenlifestyle.com.ph or call 502-1090, 501-5237.

watch: Dickies
accessories: Girlshoppe
shoes: SM Solemate

Here's what I wore when I attended the launching of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf planner for 2013. Stay tuned for my blog post about the event. :) Anway, I'm wearing my favorite shoes of the moment. It's a silver ballet flats from Solemate. Been abusing this shoes for some time now. Expect more outfit diaries with this shoes, hehe :D

The launching was held at Robinson's Magnolia. It was my first time to go there. It brought back memories while looking how big the mall is. I used to go to Magnolia for some ice cream when I was a kid. Every time I have a reward from school, nagfifield trip kami ng family ko sa Magnolia, haha! And now, isa na syang malaking mall! How time flies noh? :)) But I'm glad there's still a Magnolia ice cream parlor at the corner of the mall. Next time will take a photo of it. How about you? Have you been there already? :)

2013 Giving Journal at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

$

As I've mentioned here, I was invited to attend the launching of 2013 Giving Journal of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. It was held at the newly opened CBTL branch in Robinson's Magnolia. I've been a planner/notebook collector of CBTL ever since. Every time I get a stamp para akong bata sa tuwa, hehe :D

Anyway, this time, I learned more about CBTL's passion and their advocacies. Every planner you will get, you will be supporting The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's supported charities, foundations, schools, and other organizations in need

A brand built on compassion, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf® has long supported charities, foundations, schools, and other organizations in need. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf®continues its support for the Real LIFE Foundation by dedicating proceeds from the Giving Journal to the organization.

And the Christmas treats are back! To those who got sad when they removed Red Velvet drinks from their menu earlier this year, it's happier days once again! :)) So to all Red Velvet lovers, grab it while it's hot...or cold! :)
Tried the Red Velvet Ice Blended for the 1st time. Was not able to try them last year. Puros Chai Tea and Vanilla Ice Blended lang kasi ako, hehe! I thought this is super sweet. No pala! Will be ordering this again soon! :)

These are new! Something to look forward to on your next visit. Yummy cakes FTW! Chocolate Caramel Fudge and Raspberry Chocolate Cake!

Instant fave - Rum Cake! Love that it has nuts too. Craving for one! :)

Ta-dah! The 2013 Giving Journal! We have two colors to choose from. The light and darker color. It's a hardbound type of planner.

Extra treats from the planner? The monthly coupons of course! :) It is the the brand’s simple way of expressing gratitude for joining in the cause.

Trivia: The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is celebrating their 10th anniversary here in the Philippines and 50th around the globe. Happy Anniversary, CBTL! :)

More than just a journal to write thoughts on, the Giving Journal has pages upon pages of great features centered on giving back. The 2013 Giving Journal has sheets that show moments where the brand has helped many of its loyal customers carve out their own way of kindness in the hearts of many, making it the perfect avenue for people to embark on a journey of giving.

Some features inside the planner.

I'm happy to say that you can only collect 12 stamps to have the planner. Isn't that great? Another great idea to give as our Christmas gift to our family and friends.

Mechanics:
1. A minimum single-receipt purchase of any Original Ice Blended, Coffee-based, or Tea-based Beverage, or Frozen Swirl, qualifies you to get a stamp card. Each card consists of 12 stamp boxes, with corresponding drink assignments. These are as follows:

Attended a debut party of my inaanak two weeks ago. Can't believe I have an 18 year old inaanak, I feel too old! Hahaha! :D

Anyway, I've been cleaning my closet for the past weeks (and until now I'm not yet finish, lol) and I saw this never worn dress that I have since last year. Good thing it was a black and white party and I paired the dress with my People Are People heels . Used a red clutch to break the monochromatic look. And how I love my new envelope red clutch bag -thanks to Ensemble.

And I love Sofi's outfit here. It's a Grecian inspired dress, so I decided to put a gold hair accessory on her hair. She felt pretty that day kasi daw she looked like a princess, hehe :D

The art of letter writing with Papillo Fine Stationers

$

Writing letters by hand may be considered a lost art for some, especially in this digital age when almost everyone is all about their computers and mobile phones. For stationer Trish Panlilio, however, there’s nothing more delightful than a beautifully and carefully handwritten note.

“I sincerely believe people appreciate a handwritten letter, no matter how long or short,” shares Trish, Owner of Papillo Fine Stationers. “It's the time you set aside to do it that makes it more meaningful.”

I for one will appreciate it if someone give me a handwritten letter. Mas personal kasi ang dating. With the technology nowadays, I know I will get kilig kasi  parang mas feel mo yung emotion. :)  I know this because after all this years, all my letters since my high school days, nakatago pa. And every time I fix my drawers I still read them. Unlike messages thru email and text nabura na.

Papillo Fine Stationers aims to bring back the seemingly forgotten charm of letter writing by providing its clients fresh and exciting ways to put their sentiments on paper. Bursting with an array of bold colors, whimsical artwork, and a fashion-forward sense of style, Papillo products lend a sophisticated flair to whatever a client wants written down.

Papillo offers an extensive selection of stationery, invitations, gift cards, and note cards
It is available for viewing by simply calling 0929365 2328 or 0918 9369854. You can also visit the website www.papillofinestationers.com for more information.

Coca-Cola Tree Lighting Event

$

Christmas is really in the air! I was able to witness the giant Christmas lighting at Araneta Center thanks to Coca Cola! Yay!!!

Despite a trying year, the Filipinos continue to show the rest of the world what it means to be happy. Faced with economic, social and environmental challenges, we turned these into an opportunity to show that even though we are beaten to the ground, we find ways to rise up and collectively buoy each other up back to happiness. Thus, our nation’s collective happiness is brighter than ever. Coca-Cola is inspired by this unique Filipino story.

On its 100th year, Coca-Cola pays tribute to the Filipinos for believing in happiness. The magical season of Christmas is the perfect backdrop to rally the Filipinos to continue believing in happiness. Coca-Cola sparks among us this season that it is not about the big gifts nor the big gestures that make Christmas special, but rather the small and meaningful things that we express and share with one another – the warm and welcoming spirit, the acts of generosity and even shared meals - to make someone happy.

The Coca-Cola Tree Lighting Event at the Araneta Center is a towering reminder to the Filipinos to let happiness live on. Now on its 5th year, families and friends gather around the biggest tree in the country to collectively open happiness.

November 9, 2012, Coca-Cola kicked off the tradition of happiness through a simple celebration.

Through this annual celebration, Coca-Cola continues to inspire and encourage Filipinos to share more moments of happiness. Coca-Cola encourages you to go and make someone happy today, because we believe that the more happiness we share, the more happiness will also return to us.

Popcorn and cotton candy treats!

Another treat! DQ Dilly Bar! Saya lang ni Sofi! :))

Thank you Jai of Coke for the invite!! :))

All smiles because of the overflowing Coke!

Drop by at Araneta Center's giant Christmas tree and have memorable photos with your family and friends!

Thank you Coke for the invite! To the next 100 years of happiness! Ituloy ang Happiness.
