A new Duty Free Fiesta Mall awaits our balikbayans as the travel retail store undergoes its grandest renovation yet.

For the past six months, the Fiesta Mall underwent an unbelievable renovation under the leadership of French interior designer Philippe Larose. Duty Free Philippines Chief Operating Officer Lorenzo “Enchong” Formoso III says this is part of their goal to make the Fiesta Mall “at par with other global retail stores around the world, but still with a Filipino touch.”

The end result is a glowing Duty Free, with sparkling floors and ceilings that would be recognizable to consumers who have not been to the Fiesta Mall in months.

Coach is the embodiment of the quintessentially American way of making sportswear effortlessly chic; and the current collection by cult favorite Stuart Vevers is now wowing magazine editors, bloggers and other followers of fashion.

It’s a beauty connoisseur’s heaven. Fragrance, skin care, cosmetics and gift items from drugstore brands to luxury houses are all in one easy to navigate shopping floor.

Watch it. Whether you are searching for a dressy timepiece or a sporty accessory, the new watch floor at the new Duty Free Philippines is bigger better and brighter.

With the transformation comes new lines of high-end foreign brands to keep up with the evolving list of selections abroad, as well as satisfy the needs and wants of the Filipino consumers. Mr. Formoso says customers usually ask for U.S. brands, a request that the New Duty Free has granted.

DFP has recently added new foreign high-end brands for bags such as Coccinelle, Ferrari, Coach, Fabbrica Pelletterie Milano (or FPM), and Bridgeway, among others.

Its liquor department is also now fully stocked with a great array of limited edition alcoholic drinks, from champagnes to brandies, which could not be found in other retail stores in the country.

Special vintage liqueurs, limited edition tequilas, and unusual blends of brandies and Scotch whiskies await gentlemen of distinction.

These include Royal Salute 100 Cask, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Alfred Dunhill, and the Macallan 1824 collection – Select Oak, Whisky Maker’s Edition, Estate Reserve, Oscuro, and Decanter III.

Also among Duty Free’s travel retail exclusives is the Johnny Walker Explorers’ Club Spice Road, a complex whisky inspired by the spice markets of Asia, with rich flavor and exceptional smoothness.

Fiesta Mall also made improvements on its watch department, which now has its very own luxurious section in the store. It includes Fashion, Mid Swiss and High End brands such as Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, AX Armani, and Philippe Charriol, among others.

The DFP says it features only the latest watch-models –the same type that are currently on display in Singapore and Hong Kong malls.

Sweet treats. Cute gift packages and delectable indulgences will delight everyone on your shopping list.

Popular heritage chocolatier Godiva’s and American classic See’s Candies of California are now available at the new Duty Free Philippines.

Its chocolate department was also recently upgraded to include premium brands like See’s Candies of California, Ghirardelli’s and Godiva. As if those are not tempting enough, the chocolate section also has amazing promos that are irresistible to mommies and kids.

Looking at the Fiesta Mall’s new and improved brand selections, combined with its sparkling renovations, one couldn't help but think that Duty Free shopping just became more fun in the Philippines.
