HEALTHY SNACK FOR THE FAMILY: U.S. POTATO CHEESY BREAD RECIPE

Being a mom does not come with a manual. You learn as you go and make the most of what you have, with the end goal of having a happy, healthy, and functional family.

I’m the designated cook and it’s my responsibility to prepare delicious dishes that will nourish the family. When you have kids at home, it’s important that the food they eat gives them the energy they need to sustain their activities throughout the day.

This pandemic helped me re-evaluate the food I prep for the fam. With our children in distant learning and us busy working from home, I have to plan our meals ahead. I also have to be creative, while also keeping the budget in check.

Home-cooked meals are still the best. That said, I’m sharing a recipe that we now consider as one of our favorite snacks in-between meals. Oh, and did I mention it’s a veggie? Yep! Since I always experiment in the kitchen, I thought of a new way to cook… potatoes!  

My fambam loves potatoes! Ang dami pwedeng gawin sa patatas. From snack to main dish, we can always rely on potatoes to create easy and yummy recipes.
