Over the years part of fambam's weekend were spent eating out. We love bonding over good food, trying out nice places and dishes. But since we can't do that anymore, crispy fried chicken became our comfort food in our home. It was and still is our staple dish every Sunday lunch. In short, hindi Sunday kapag hindi kami kakain ng fried chicken. Haha! I don't know how it started, tbh. Pero if you'll ask the fambam kung ano ang gusto nilang Sunday lunch ang reply nila is "tinatanong pa ba yun? The usual". Kaya kahit my 4 year old Isha alam nya na Sunday na because we always eat crispy fried chicken. It's not Sunday without fried chicken. Haha!
And of course, sabi nga, give credit where credit is due. Syempre dahil gusto natin maging crispy ang fried chicken, one of my grocery staples ang Crispy Fry. And true to its brand, every dish na gagamitan mo ng Crispy Fry e nagiging crispy nga.
