Shopee users can now easily pay for their Maynilad, Manila Water, Cignal, SkyCable bills, and more with just a few taps on their smartphones.
Shopee has observed an accelerated shift towards digital payments during the pandemic. According to Facebook and Bain & Co’s annual report, 22% of consumers now say that digital payment is their preferred way to pay, compared to 14% in 2019. As a response to this trend, Shopee is now providing users an option to skip the long lines at billing centers and pay their bills using the Shopee app.
